Hi Tara,

There's a couple of starting points to begin your research. Below is the link to our online research guide for veterinary technology. If you use the tabs from the top and go to the page called articles you may want to search a database known as academic search premier. Play around with different searches using the terms “animals” + “ grieve” and look at the resources on each page. You may also want to try our sleuth catalog for print books or browse the stacks in the SF section where there are books on the physiology of animals.  I’ll be here on the second floor from 2  till 10 pm (Sun-Thurs) if you want to stop by or please feel free to chat more with me online.
